Race Day @ Colin’s: – appeared to go down well, a track with a difference, some very fast stuff mixed with some slower sections.
Good to see 2 new members showing up for their first ever day Blair Hammond with his self built Class 10 and Mike McCreedy with his Class 7. Also local Matamata Dion Edgecumbe having his second outing in his Polaris U.T.V.
In all 8 vehicles came off Trailers and one competitor(?) drove his car to the pit paddock.
A late start owing to a broken engine mount on one car but a very relaxed atmosphere.
Forecast rain held off and traction was good.
Format was two 6 lap races – lunch break- then a 15 lap race.
Overall placings for the day 1st Eric Teers U13, 2nd Neil Hook 1005, 3rd Dion Edgecumbe U14.
