Waikato Off-Road Racing club will be running the North Island Short Course Champs on the 17th of October 2015. It is to be a 1 day event (including scrutineering and prize giving at the track).
Our track at Raglan is a very exciting track, comprising both technical sections and some fast horsepower sections. It is certainly not flat and no two corners are the same.
For the North Island Short Course Champs we aim to offer quick-fire racing, five races per class each of 5 laps.
The soil type is free draining so even moderate rain should still allow good racing and we don’t envisage dust to be a problem at this time of the year.
The Days Schedule at this stage is:
Gates open 7:00am
Scrutineering 7:30 am – 9:00 am
Drivers briefing 9:30am
Racing 10:00am
Entry forms will be out by the end of August and will be available from the WORC website.
